What a fucking weekend. Didn't dissapoint at all. Left my voice in the blue campsite but sure what harm.

Pet Shop Boys stole the show for me (finishing with Go West - genius) , followed closely by Broken Social Scene (when they played Anthem for a Seventeen Year Old Girl I nearly blacked out), New Order (just amazing), The Rapture (what a fuckin laugh), Andrew Weatherhall (lost 2 stone in sweat), the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Devendra Banhart and Rufus Wainwright (nice touch singin Halelujah).

A bit dissapointed with Shadow, especially the dope of an MC that came out.

Had to leave Massive Attack and Basement Jaxx, far too dull.

How unbelievably shit was Garnier? All i'd heard was how amazing he was gonna be, had to leave. Also pissed off I went to the hurling match, missed Hot Chip cos of it, what a load of balls.

Wish I saw Sparks and PJ Harvey but sure you can't see everything.

All hail the Pet Shop Boys!

They tend to mix them live there and then with the vjamm stuff and all, so it will probably never be played like that again

There are plenty of versions of it on vinyl as well.
Hexstatic have one too - google it.

After their cancellation in Dublin this year it was great to catch them live, finally.

What a place it is!!!! Would of gladly stayed there for another day...too much to see and not enough time..
Didn't catch as many bands as i would of liked but everything i saw was more or less great - highlights were dj shadow and bloc party
The atmosphere for every band up there was top class
Oh yeah and song of the weekend goes to........Pet shop boys - go west!

Sorry I shoulda said I went to SEE the match, didn't actually go up to Dublin. Twas on in the cinema by the camper van site. Waste of time. Realised I had no interest in it when i got there. Spent the entire match moaning and sweating and wishing I was at Hot Chip. Ah well, can't win em all.
