Default Why is Murphy's being brewed in Scotland?

Has anyone bought a can of Murphy's in the last while?

Has it tasted a bit shit to the extent that you start looking around the can in case it might be out of date?

Have you then noticed that it's being "Brewed under licence by Heineken UK Limited, Scotland, for Murphy Brewery Ireland Limited, Leitrim Street, Cork, Ireland"?

And this isn't just one batch, I like a Murphy's and have picked it up in a few places including Grange, Blackpool, and town, and it's all the same.

Cans of Beamish don't seem to be affected. Anyone know what the craic is?

Gonna hazard a wild guess here, coz it's cheaper to manufacture and distribute from Bonnie Scotland. A but like those made in china pens you can buy at blarney castle.

Hey man there's no need for that attitude, you brought up the subject the least you could do is post photo of it besides mugging a fella off because he asked you for proof.

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately I don't have the facilities to take or indeed post a picture of the can that I bought, so to aid your enjoyment of this pretty great thread I have included photos below of -

A can of Murphy's, Glasgow, and Amy MacDonald.

Murphy's

Glasgow

Sarcasm, lowest form of wit. I know what a can of Murphys, a dump and a bird look like. Perhaps you should have taken your own advice and bought one where you told a fellow poster to buy one of in Bradleys and insulting him.
Just saying like.
