Worryingly Neptune might actually have been better with Terry instead of Ronnie Clarke last year, despite the fact that he's in his 40's.
The season is still a few weeks away, first week in October. Before that Neptune's annual preseason tournament for the southern teams will be our first proper look. Demons look like being strong again, especially if they learn how to win close games. No idea at all how Neptune are going to pan out. The ceiling is high, but there's a lot of miles on some of the legs out there.
Pity about Waterford, which means there'll be three from five make the playoffs in the south, which is far too easy. If one more team is lost it'll be back to the standard league format.
You really serious about Strickland still playing, I used to go to see Neptune way back in the early 90's and he was playing, mad!
no i think he ment that if strickland was still playing he would be a whole better than ronnie clarke last year..... want to forget last year and i hope they bring back the old format please dear god bring it back
where is terry strickland these days? you reckon he's sipping champagne in a jacuzzi somewhere in Malibu discussing hook shots with Michael Jordan and Larry bird?
