If we had followed our neighbours lead, I’d be quite sure our numbers would be similar.
Hard to compare really as London has so many people in su h close quarters, Belarus had no lockdown what so ever and has a population of 9 million and has 250 deaths, also why have the extremely vulnerable countries like for instance south africa and India where people practically sleep on top of each other have such low death numbers, does the virus only like those with a few Bob or something?

The thing is you can't take these out because while you may be a safe driver someone speeding can take you out through no fault of your own, the same way someone who is healthy and unlikely to die from covid could contract the disease and pass it on to someone not as healthy as yourself.
Very sensible, captain.

Agreed, so as I said those that were vulnerable should be cocooned and immunity built up through those that are healthy, so whats the plan if there is no vaccination, never ending lockdowns?, its like a dog chasing its tail.

India has been in lockdown for two months.

Belarus is run by a nut case. I’d believe nothing coming out of there.

RTE , Irish Times, Examiner, Journal etc are absolutely toothless they didn't hammer this march and those behind it.

Niall Boylan is the only media figure I heard today to echo the publics disgust at those who attended yesterday.
But if you listen to doctors, they also say stuff like

"Don't be drinking, smoking, doing getaway drugs, or eating fatty foods."

There's only so much good advice a man can take.

Getaway drugs?

Is this a new thing instead of holidays?

Do we know how many more just as a matter of interest?

Yeah but it should be rampant in the likes of India by now, look at South Africa, it should be spreading like wildfire but no, and Swedens numbers show to me that lockdowns cannot be justified.
