This will be a crowd-pleaser. Fabian Cancellara destroying Tom Boonen in the 2010 Tour of Flanders.

I’m no tennis fan but Goran Ivanisovic’s win at Wimbledon was pure theatre; I’d swear he was having a mental breakdown live on tv.

Yeah, that 2006 game wasn't anywhere near as great as I remembered. Zidane was class though, and it was a great defensive display by France. Brazil were cat, still can't believe they were evens favourites before that tournament.

Fuck, I don’t remember that. There was some savage talent on the pitch though tbf.

As I said, this game was about Zidane

The game itself was just OK

Must have been the second half so. Because he was anonymous in the first half. Showed a few flashes just before half time, but that was it.

And the first half was not okay, it was dreadful.

Ah dreadful is a bit strong. It was below par for the quality of individuals on show but if you want dreadful, I dare you to watch Switzerland v Ukraine from earlier that same day.

Zidane had some lovely touches in the first half. He was such a Rolls Royce of a player.
