haven't watched/listened to the dvds and blu-ray yet but the 2 cds sound absolutely fantastic on de speakers

Yeah I got both Wish You Were Here and the DSOTM immersion sets, they sound great on a decent set of speakers

Glad Stephane's playing didn't make the final cut, he's a great jazz man but his style is way too dissonant for this tune. No disrespect to his playing but that is awful. The whole phrasing of the entire song is off putting to put it mildly and that reverb is making me dizzy.

Is the immersion box think full of stuff like that Jim?

Some of the remastered albums sound great, DSOTM being on top of the list but stuff like Division Bell actually suffered from the remastering.

There's live versions and mono versions and the remasters themselves. Not a huge fan of the Division Bell either but it's a lot better than A momentary lapse of reason, which is by far their worst album IMO. They were definitely at their best when Waters and Gilmour worked together
