Very disappointing for them to have cancelled their gig in the everyman last night. Was forward to them playing, had even met them on Washington St.yesterday asking me for directions. But to discover same was cancelled due to Sound Engineering problems was pitiful. It could only happen in the City of Culture!!!! Such a weak and unprofessional excuse. And no sign of a refund on the night, no have to go chase the everyman now to pay up. Shame.
Yeah... very dissapointing. I was really looking forward to that. A friend of mine had taken the day off work and driven down from templemore to see them. I hope they come back soon and play again... hopefully in a more professional establishment! I've been to tons of gigs from the opera house down to the dingiest pub, and this is the first one that's cancelled... all due to a sound problem!
DUE TO SERIOUS TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, TUESDAY NIGHT’S EVERYMAN THEATRE CORK SHOW HAD TO BE CANCELLED.
On behalf of Rod and Gab, we would like to offer our sincerest apologies to anyone who had come to see the concert tonight. The technical crew will be arranging a new PA in the morning, so tomorrow’s show will go ahead as planned.
We are planning to reschedule tonight’s show to a later date. As soon as we have a new date, we will post it on this site and announce it on their newsletter. For refunds please contact the venue. If you wish to be kept informed of a new date by email, please send your address to info@rubyworks.com.
Thank you for your understanding and our apologies once again
They announced last night that tonights gig will go ahead, which was great to hear when our one had been cancelled. ah well if it is re-scheduled at least that will be something.
It seems the problem the night before was the multi-core was damaged so the power was tripping out……. so by the time they figured it out it was too late
