DVD Player to work with 100 Hz TV

Hi lads and lassies,

I recently purchased a 32" tv and it works away grand but my old dvd player doesn't seem up to matching the tv - what I mean is that when watching a dvd there seems to be a lag in drawing the picture if you know what I mean. Like the characters seem to leave an image in there wake for a half second occassionally. Can anyone recommend what I need to look for in getting a dvd to work better with the tv ?

Check the cable? Output settings on the dvd player?

There's probably some setting on your TV that you need to change.

I doubt it's the DVD player if the playback is smooth.
