Default Cuban Linx 2

Think it deserves its own thread 15 years on from the original

I think its a pretty good follow on with a good few stand out tracks from various producers. Eric Sermon,Scram Jones,Rza,Marley Marl,Dilla

2 of the dilla tracks "10 Bricks" and "House of the flying daggers", Marley Marls "Pyrex vision" and RZA'a "Black Mozart" stand out for me so far

Anyone who says its better than 1 is being ridiculous , its a solid 7.5/10

the first one is probably in the top 3 greatest hip hop albums of all time. a good follow up is the most he could have hoped for.
havent heard the album in full yet but the tracks i have heard have been very solid. that classic wu sound. glad he didnt try to get with the times.. good simple boom bap!

Overall, I really like it. Would agree with the rating. Some duds on there, but a worthy follow up.

News from Pitchfork:
In a recent Pitchfork interview that'll run soon, Ghostface confirmed the rumors that he's working on an album with Rae and Meth, and claimed that it'll come out on Def Jam. And MTV News has gotten all three members to confirm separately that they're working on the album, finally nailing down Meth last Friday: "It feels great. Rae got the album out, Ghost is coming with his album, and all three of us got the album together. And you hearing it here first. I ain't never said it on tape."

We're still waiting to hear about insignificant little details like a title or a release date, but the fact that these three are teaming up is hugely exciting. Now that Cuban Linx II actually exists, we suddenly have a new most anticipated rap album.
