I know people in their 90s sharper than some in their 50s. They generally don't make ridiculous arguments about drinking and abortion either....

It could have been methadone rather than heroin as she was on a program (for like 15 years).

The 33 year old mother who died also had a 17 year old daughter.

Her body, her choice.

Stop shaming strong independent women for doing what they want with their bodies.

Whoosh indeed - you're clearly not tall enough.

"Of course a pregnant woman should be allowed end the very existence of the foetus but how dare she smoke, or drink while pregnant and possibly expose the foetus to harm."

Maybe that should be a permitted reason for abortion after 12 weeks - they won't need any excuse before 12 weeks it seems. But maybe a prospective mother could decide post 12 weeks that she's been smoking and drinking while she didn't know she was pregnant and won't want to take any risk with the foetus so let's just terminate it eh?

The lady I know, apparently she's always had very irregular periods, didn't realise she was pregnant and was drinking and smoking for the first nearly 10 weeks. Thankfully there weren't any adverse affects on her child - teenager now.

You'll need to break that down for Druker to understand.

For fucks sake.

Has colour TV even been invented in your world yet?

One thing does not necessarily follow the other. The woman has a choice to keep the pregnancy going or not. If she decides to allow the pregnancy to go on for nine months then medical evidence shows it's best for the baby if she abstains from certain substances.

If she chooses not to do this she is risking severe consequences for the child.

How one of these things connects to the other is something only you seem to comprehend.

But then again, aren't you the genius that thinks planting a bomb is not technically murder

When did the CHOICE for what happens to a woman's body become just the choice to allow her "to keep the pregnancy going or not"? Surely choice is choice?
She can chose to wear make up or not, shave her pits or not, get a piercing or tattoo or not, and if she does even the type of tattoo, (soon) to get an abortion or not, smoke and/or drink or not.

Seems to me you're now wanting to impose a restriction on the woman's CHOICE - just so that you can justify it to yourself.
