I was in there once a few years ago, I will never go back in there.
A filthy place, I would not even refer to it as a greasy spoon.

Erra, you can’t be afraid of everything.
Bacteria are everywhere.
If food is fresh and cooked properly you should be safe.

I know a fella who delivery supplies to takeaways. He was doing a delivery to a Chinese down West Cork and he spotted a mouse legging it around the back of the kitchen, he followed the mouse and found a hole in the skirting board.

So he pulls up the Chinese owner and says:

'Hey, there a mouse loose in your kitchen'

The Chinese dude is like: 'whera? Show me!'

Your man brings him to the kitchen and shows him the hole

The Chinese man looks at it and says:

"Ahhhhh Micky Mouse Club House hahahahaw!!!"

Made a joke and didn't give two fucks lol!

to true. kitchens are usually dirty and a lot of them would have rodents getting in..rats are easily controlled however but thats all really.. practically impossible to keep them out , especially out of an old building. if the food is cooked to a proper temperature then your fairly okay and the main thing is keep raw food and hands that have touched it separate. imo i wouldnt worry one bit about eating out ( if you are fit and healthy). people with compromised immune systems would have to be wary of course...remember those of us who drink in pubs are at the mercy of the barmans good hygienic practices ( god hep us all).
