In Ireland our massive cattle herd is a major issue, the herd needs to be drastically cut but that won't happen because the farmers are such a powerful lobby group.

Ffs if that was the case you wouldn't see a plane in the sky or a non hybrid car on the road. Have any of the big or small multinational companies made any major changes in work practice.
Nope, I think you're missing the point. The brink is the tipping point, I think the argument is we've fallen over tge edge, you're arguing so what, a bit of wind, that doesn't mean we're going to have a rough landing. We are, we're just not there yet.

Its already so bad airlines are asking people to use trains...

Europe hit temps people hadnt expected until 2050. It's very very bad.

Yeah, we need to cut down drastically on our consumption of red meat and meat in general. Factory farming is a major source of needless animal suffering and that needs to be gradually phased out as well.

There's over 7 billion of us.

The planet needs to cull us somehow.

Once the water wars begin and the anti-biotics finally give up the ghost we can expect human populations to crash spectacularly.

But that's our childrens' and grandchildrens' problem.

For now, enjoy the steaks.
