hearing reports of it being called off cause they oversold tickets, 3 hour queues to get in and as much to even get into a tent. jesus

Was there. Absolute joke. They deserve all the flack they're getting. How did they think they could sell 15k tickets? The combined capacity of all stages together was less than 5k I reckon. And there was absolutely NOTHING happening outside of those stages.

Thank god we left the minute they cordoned off the main stage area. Taxi straight away, into town.

jeepers if they have to give back the money, that will be the end of bloc.
could see it costing them a LOT of money due to the, as noted, epic fail.

probably the end of it alright. shame, was at it in minehead years ago and it was savage. always had great lineups.

I imagine a lot of the performers have clauses in their contracts saying they still get paid even if the event is cancelled. So I would say it's very unlikely that Bloc will continue unless they can get out of that one.

What a shambles. What were they thinking selling that many tickets!?
