All the EP posts make me nostaligic for the late lamented Liss Ard Festival in Skibbereen. Anybody remember it?

t'was a great idea in principle, pity about the execution

yeah, it was a good line up particularly when they just stuck to the music. A lot of the poetry and new age stuff was hard to take. The organistion was pretty shambolic and although MCD had some sort of involvement particularly with booking acts, i heard a whisper that MCD did'nt get paid. The whole Liss Ard set-up was a bit of a sham (sky gardens, etc) Lots of Bord Failte money was spent there to no great avail. If anyone's interested the place is on the market for six million.
