Default How many Northern players would get on the Republic side
Personally I'd have David Healy on the side cos I think he's an all round striker who is hugely under rated possibly Aaron Hughes as well. But thats it, how the hell did they beat England, but not only that they played a far better brand of football than the Republic with a completely inferior squad.

I'd love to see them all available to play for one Irish team to be honest, as they do in Rugby.

Certainly when keith gillespie has his mind on the job hes a fine player. Maik Taylor is a very steady goalkeeper, steven davis is a rising talent at villa and healy is a proven goalscorer albeit at championship level.

I'd agree with you on all but Gillespie, I don't think he has ever proven himself to be top class, lord knows he's had enough chances.
