I've heard it's Kingstons if he wants it. Now let's forget the last two years even happened. Great news

We'll never know and it's all hypothetical but I do think the signs in 2017 were very good for improvement going forward.
In fairness to Meyler he replicated the achievements in 2018 but I suspect Kingston with Pat Ryan and O Sullivan would have had enough nous to get us over the line against Limerick in Croke Park.

Fully agree. And not just nous but pure raw passion as well. Meyler I think found it hard to motivate them and was ok friendly with certain senior players. .Cork couldn't win a game getting embarrassed in championship when he took over. Gave so many good young players their chance. Also gave Horgan a test by dropping him and I think it was the making of Hoggie

I’d have no problem with Kingston coming back.

However his son might. I’ve heard Shane felt under a lot of pressure while Kieran was there, the usual “he’s only getting on ahead of others because his dad is manager” talk. Think when Kieran stepped away he alluded to it being a factor. Family is family at end of day. He may not want to put his son under pressure

Would love to see Kingston as manager and Ger Cunningham as coach.
