Default Will Baros play this weekend?

Anyone have any update on this (from BBC below)? Unsure whether to keep him in my fantasy footie team...thinking of playing crespo or yakubu instead

Milan Baros is a major doubt for Aston Villa an Achilles injury sustained in the Carling Cup match with Wycombe

as long as Michael Owen doesnt get a load of goals thus pushing up his price so that I cant afford him as my one transfer next week when I offload the disappointing Morientes... I dont really care about Baros.

Sorry, and excuse my lack of knowledge
He might play, but then agian he mightn't.
(does that help??)

Choosing any liverpool striker in your FF team is dodgy as Rafa tends to play one up front a fair bit and is a fan of rotating his striker based on the opposition. I'd expect Crouch to start for certain against a physical side like B'ham who turned us over twice last year. Shame Sissoko isn't available, he'll be a great asset for us this season esp in the games away from home where we have to battle hard to gain posession.

I reckon I'll go for Yakubu (unless I hear Baros is fit) as Crespo may not start & the Yak is up against a poor sunderland back four (with Breen as it's fulcrum)

If Baros does play hopefully he'll have the game of his life and Chelseas drop points(we can dream)

Baros would have to play really really well for it to be the best game of his life.
