Default Fa cup final day

I like many here can rattle off the winners from 1970--95 after that im
struggling, memories of how big a day it was, apart from Arsenal and chelsea fans today it wont be high on many peoples priorities,

96 final was putrid. football was awful. set piece won it. other than that..dont rem3ber much else Lee.🙂

Yeah Jimmy, it seems to me it's gone a bit like the Cup competitions in other countries. Great to win but far behind the League and of course for the big clubs, far far behind the CL.

Time was, in England anyway, it was almost as important as the League, which seems a bit mad to be fair.

The coverage used to start on BBC about 9AM IIRC.

Now it’s 4.30 for a 5.30 kick off.

Semi 20 years later beats it hands down.
1983 drawn game had a dramatic finish. 1985 wasn't bad either!
