Default Firefox Mozilla

I cannot view the video or audio content in a streaming web page and cannot download or display in Firefox when trying to watch sport matches either.

Can anyone offer advice & suggestions or offer directions to help me resolve this problem.

I am using Ubuntu with Firefox.

Thanking you in advance.

Hard to tell without more details. Do you get an error or warning message anywhere on screen?
What shows in place of where the video should be?
Was it working fine previously? If so, what has changed since? Firefox upgrade?

Try Chromium or another browser if they're installed. Open the quicklaunch and type 'browser' to see what's available

Check if Flash is enabled on the page.

If you have Adblock on, temporarily disable it and reload the page (F5), then enable Adblock again after (hopefully) the video and audio come on.

I am running Ubuntu 16.04 with Firefox Mozilla. I have just downloaded the latest free Adobe Flash Player and now everything is working fine. It was unusual that I was able to play anything on YouTube, but I was getting a blocked fuzzy screen when I was trying to stream live events.
