Irish team has been named, paddy wallace is the biggest surprise at centre, so keith earls misses out. I would have liked to see earls at centre at fitzgerald on the wing personally.
Other points of note:
Kearney at FB - totally agree over Murphy or dempsey
Flannery at hooker - happy with that again, think he deserves it over best.
ferris, wallace and heaslip backrow - think with leamy still on the way back thats fair enough
IRELAND (v France): Kearney, Bowe, O'Driscoll, P Wallace, Fitzgerald, O'Gara, O'Leary, Horan, Flannery, Hayes, O'Callaghan, O'Connell, Ferris, D Wallace, Heaslip.
subs:
R Best, T Court, M O'Kelly, D Leamy, P Stringer, G D'Arcy, G Murphy.

Tillous-Borde gets nod for Les Bleus
Sebastien Tillous-Borde will be Lionel Beauxis’ half-back partner for France in their RBS 6 Nations opener against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.
The Castres scrum-half gets the nod over Morgan Parra and will play for the first time alongside Beauxis for Les Bleus.
Elsewhere, there are recalls in the back division for in-form Toulouse team-mates Florian Fritz and Clement Poitrenaud, at centre and full-back respectively.
Poitrenaud’s inclusion means Maxime Medard moves to the wing where he displaces another Toulouse player, Cedric Heymans, who is on the bench.
In the forwards, Imanol Harinordoquy has been named at number eight at the expense of Louis Picamoles, while Sale’s Sebastien Chabal retains his spot at lock where he will partner captain Lionel Nallet.
Nicolas Mas is surprisingly left on the bench, with Benoit Lecouls preferred as prop.

stringer ahead of reddan on the replacements.. dont know about that..
that news broke the other day, reddans with the As.
I agree actually, tomas defnitiely deserves top spot. Reddan and O'Leary are the same kind of scrum halves, whereas stringer gives you something different (solid, reliable and still the fastest SH pass we've got), so you're giving yourself more options with tomas 1, stringer 2 and reddan 3 rather than anything else.
I like reddan but wasps have been pretty cack this season which doesnt help his cause
