The magnificent 19th century Cork City Gaol is a splendid atmospheric setting
for the 9th World Ghost Convention as it has its own resident ghosts which have been seen
by members of the audience and speakers since the first Ghost Convention was established in 2001.
Reported sightings of ghosts and spirits are only the tip of the iceberg as many people are
afraid, ashamed, and embarrassed to come forward for fear or not being taken seriously.
For this reason, the World Ghost Convention was established to help those who have had
supernatural experiences by raising public awareness, highlighting the fact that they are
not alone in having such experiences.

This unique international Ghost Convention, which is the first of its kind in the world, provides an
ideal opportunity for the many people fascinated with the supernatural to hear a colourful
assortment of supernatural topics discussed by a panel of guest speakers from different
backgrounds and professions. In addition, those who have experienced supernatural occurences
have the chance to share their own personal supernatural experiences if they so wish as well as
hear firsthand the accounts of others who echo similar experiences.

Your host for the evening's proceedings is
Kevin N. Power, M.A. H.D.E., L. Dip (T.C.L.)
University College Cork.

Panel of Guest Speakers for this years World Ghost Convention:

Dr. Margaret Humphreys.

certain community members possess distinctive powers in terms of communicating
with the supernatural.

Peter Matthew.
Psychic/Medium.
Reassuring people that their loved ones are very happy where they are in the spirit world and
that our departed loved ones miss us every bit as much as we miss them, for Peter being able
to connect with the spirit world and relaying messages from our loved ones as well as joining
the two worlds together for people here on the earth plane is a true honour.
Treasuring his gift each and every day, Peter will share some of his fascinating
experiences of seeing and sensing spirits since he was a young child.

Cherri Bonney.
Clairvoyant/Psychic.
Australian born Cherri Bonney will share a number of fascinating personal experiences she has had
with spirits, one of which led her to Ireland to assist a Corkonian on a voyage of discovery.

Complimentary light refreshments served.

Fiona Barrett.
Psychic Spiritual Medium/Life Skills & Stress Management Consultant.
Fiona will present the highs and lows of working as a Spiritual Medium in rural Ireland. She will

barriers of fear and message interpretation, the importance of integrity
and continued personal development in working towards further clarity within the field of
mediumship along with some of the many challenges faced while walking this path.

in the context of bullying and discuss the assistance available from unseen ghostly witnesses,
predominately our ancestors that surround all of us.

Default World Ghost Convention 2009

I just heard on Channel V that Britney has signed up to a 50 million dollar deal to do a world tour.

I really hope this is true. I would love to see her if she came out here...

Anyone else excited by this news?
