Rugbyheaven is choosing a Team of the Week for each week of southern hemisphere Tests before the Tri Nations begins.
Test Team of the Week: June 14-15.
15. Robert Kearney (Ireland): A cross between Chris Latham and Roy Keane. Good under the high ball, carved up the Wallabies on attack, great left foot. Everything you want in a fullback and only 22.
14. Topsy Ojo (England): Didn't see the pill all night but conjured up two tries against the All Blacks at Eden Park, on debut, out of sheer opportunism and pace.
13. Jean de Villiers (South Africa): Two poachers' tries got the Springboks out of a big hole against the Welsh.
12. Ma'a Nonu: (New Zealand): Forces de Villiers to 13 with his best performance for the All Blacks. Solid on defence, cut up the English on attack. Combination with classy Conrad Smith looking better every game.
11. Shane Williams (Wales): The Springboks are watching the replay of his try and they still don't know which way he is going to go. Brilliant.
10. Dan Carter: (New Zealand). Finished off a beautiful set-piece move for a try and kicked them over from everywhere on his way to 22 points.
9. Luke Burgess (Australia): Made a few mistakes but attempted to do everything at pace and most of it came off. If Australia find a pack, watch out.
8. Luke Narraway (England): Hugely physical in all his work, piled into the breakdown, carried the ball up strongly and even managed to do a bit of tap dancing on the back of All Blacks halfback Andy Ellis.
7. Richie McCaw (New Zealand): Flicked a switch at the 20-minute mark and went to a level for the next 40 that no one could live with.
6. Denis Leamy (Ireland): Part of the Munster club that somehow got up for one final effort and outpointed the Wallabies back row. Got a try for his efforts from a lineout drive.
5. Victor Matfield (South Africa): Typically disruptive at the lineout on Welsh ball and even sighted in the loose more often than usual.
4. James Horwill (Australia): Will be remembered for his try but his accurate re-start work was just as impressive. Right at home in Test arena and Dan Vickerman won't walk back into the team.
3. Greg Somerville (New Zealand): Won the titanic battle with Andrew Sheridan at scrum time. The rock on which victory was built.
2. John Smit (South Africa): Accurate in everything he does. Lacks the explosiveness of replacement Bismarck du Plessis but set-piece work is immaculate.
1. Beast Mtawarira (South Africa): Did his part in rectifying the Springboks' scrum wobbles last week and had enough energy left over for the odd charge upfield.
