This has been a good competition for Cork and indeed all teams so far Cork wont make the top spot but its been good and the new management look like they know what they are doing one concern young David Buckley is still 17 a real talent but last year he was full back for the Minors, I have seen him play in the full forward line to great effect and now hes midfeld its just a young player should play in his best position and not be shoved all over the place we have done this to too many good players ..

You have a good point there Cork1990. Strange usage of Buckley last Saturday in Limerick as he wore No 15 but spent all day roaming between half back and mid field. He was indeed a good full back on the U 17 team last year but it looks like Ricken sees him as a utility player and he played that role well v Galway.
I think it's a good sign to see management moving players around while they find their best position for the team.

1 12 to 2 08 full time. Not sure if there was a wind but big turnaround second half.

No windjust awful second half. Three points second half & Cathal O Mahoney straight red last minute of the game just after scoring the winning point.

David Buckley who played at wing forward and covered alot of ground was replaced by Jack Murphy at half time. Midfield and half forward line were poor in the second half turning over alot of ball and little or no delivery to full forward line. Cathal O Mahoney who scored a cracking goal will probably miss first round of championship. Kildare had 15 wides to cork 4. Not too many players could be happy with their own performance tonight but we won TBG

Cork will play Waterford in the Munster semi-final in Clonakilty on Thursday 11 July at 7pm.
Waterford beat Clare by a point tonight.
