Ringy for me every time. First saw him live in 1954 County final v Rockies. By his presence alone, he electrified every game I saw him play. He was always intense and played as if his very life depended on it. It never seemed to matter to him whether the game was challange or Championship, He gave it his all, whether or which. I never witnessed that in any other player.

How could you put Ben O Connor ahead of Ray Cummins. Ben was a very skilful hurler but couldnt catch a ball in the air and was easily knocked off 50/50's. Cummins changed the way a full forward influenced a game and set the benchmark for the position for the next 30 years

Oh ffs, if I didn't put in Ben I'd be getting grief too. By the way would Ray be your greatest Cork Hurler ever? If not then what difference does it make?
