March 18 2019 and Beara and Carbery are out of the County Senior football Championship does not seem right somehow.

These are just token games. The divisions in Kerry would get far more respect, hence they take it more seriously

But aren't the Kerry championships 2 different competitions. 1 with divisions, 1 without.
Could that be a system they do in Cork.
Divisions and clubs could play some sort of a competition in May, June and July without county players? Could be a way to appease those who want divisions/colleges out of the club championship and also give the divisions/college's a meaningful competition rather than the token gesture 1 game a year.
Could do it without county players as those players are already getting exposure

Shouldn’t be in championship. The sooner we go to clubs only the better.
