Default A tourist in Ireland.

So, I suppose I better go and see some of my country.
Any tips for the next 3 days.
I've done the lakes of Killarney and it was alright.
I need wonderful views that will warm my cold heart for the next time I'm out in London and ranting about Ireland.
We are the resistance.

Go west and hug the coast and do the peninsulas, Beara is my favourite, drive out to the tip and then slowly work your way back the north coast through Allihies and Eyries. If your feeing energetic climb a mountain, I'd recommend Hungry Hill for spectacular 360 degree views in fine weather, if your less energetic try the forested hill above Lough Hyne near Baltimore, again stunning views in all directions, then you can reward yourself with a pint in Baltimore.

Beara is the most unspoiled of the peninsulars, but this has its drawbacks. Facilities aren't as good as Mizen, Dingle or the Ring of Kerry. In particular, there's a dearth of places to eat west of Glengariff.

Taking in some of the islands of Roaringwater Bay is usually a nice way to spend a day or two. Depending on the island, services go from Baltimore, Schull or Cunnamore, although with the exception of Long Island, all can be reached from Baltimore, even if it isn't the most convenient departure point.
I read about the dangers of drinking, so I gave up reading.
