I think, in the right side, he could have a tidy Indian summer of a season in the PL.

Would probably need a right-sided midfielder who could give him a bit of protection & a right-sided CB who can cover the gaps...but he could certainly make an impact going forward, for a side who dominate possession.

humm so basically asking others to do extra work so he can fit you mean?

that spot's already been given to Ozil

My concern is that he's lost his speed...he might have got away with it in Italy Serie A & Ligue 1 in the last 3 years but i doubt he'd manage the same in the PL

i know he's just been voted best player of the Copa America but still....Bellerin won't be back til the end of Sptember so Emery needs someone fairly rapidly (other than AMN or Jenkinson, (who's still at the club!))

Ha Ha - touche!

To incorporate him the side would need to make compromises. No doubt.

He still looks have decent speed in short bursts, but doesn't seem capable of combining that with protecting his wing to the level that the best full-backs in the PL do.

It would be risky, but fun

Everton - my Peru supporting buddies are telling me he's 'shit hot' and was the real star of the Copa America....fast winger....which is what Emery wants

I guess with Edu at the club Arsenal will get linked to loads of South American players now
