I saw him support Spiritualized a few years ago at the MFA in Boston. He was very good. A modern twist on the one man band but with a mack in the middle of the stage and a projector. Did a beautiful duet with kermit the frog on half way down the stairs.
Check out Serotonin and the ballad of elton john.

Massive shame, I only started listening and playing his stuff 2 years ago.
Must be a common occurrence in the music industry these days, great talents having to switch careers to support themselves
