Fergie trots the Co. Line
could ya imagine anyhting more sickening???
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that the Glazer brothers celebrated with the Manchester United players in the dressing room after a 3-0 win over Debreceni virtually guaranteed Champions League football this season.
Ferguson said: "They went into the dressing room and congratulated the players - they spent about 20 minutes in there, it was good.
"The brothers have a good sporting background. I am sure they are reasonably acquainted with the game of football but I think they have enthusiasm to learn more which if you own a club you should want to anyway."
Did last night's boycott have any effect? I don't think the Glazers give two f*cks what the fans think to be perfectly honest. They are in control and they will dictate things, not the fans

I think there was about 500 outside. A bit of ri ra agus ruaile buaile but nothing much.
They own the dressing room, the manager and every one of the players. If ManU win the CL this season then they'll reap the rewards. I'd be dancing too if I owned all that.

could ya imagine those tossers out dancing on the pitch if utd win anything this season.
Saw footage of Michael Knighton's smarmy ball-juggling show in front of the utd fans all those years ago...who knows what direction the club would've went in if he'd wrestled the power away. Just goes to show that club's destinies are far more linked to their finances & the whims of their owners than by any of the playing staff, it's been that way for quite a while.

Who knows what direction they'd have went? Ask the Darlington fans.

twould make you want to buy a gun
Course they'd be out there. And they'd be wondering why Roy Keane wasa being handed the cup instead of them, as is the case in the big three sports in their home nation.
Ownership is a much more hands on affair in the States. Its normal for owners to be in locker rooms before and after games. And I doubt if Utd win something this year that you'll be complaining too much about the Glazers.

Sir Alex Ferguson claims the Glazer family have so far proved themselves to be "excellent" owners of Manchester United.
Following the £12million dual purchase of Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, Ferguson believes the American business tycoon has backed up his plans for the club with hard cash.
"Without question, I have found the owners excellent," he said. "They have never failed in their promises and support in what we have done. They have demonstrated this by their commitment to signing Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic."
which roughly translates into "please don't sack me."
