He is right. Bcar is bollix and certainly not stringently examined.
THe event centre will need filling in the following areas
Parking areas for trucks etc
Piling mats for construction
Landscape areas.
Bunds and tidal protection areas.
However lets tell bam to get rid of it and come back looking for another million for the events centre.

Whether BCAR is bollix or not is irrelevant, it must be complied with in any commercial build and any consultant not carrying out inspections stringently is leaving themselves wide open

What was your point again? You seem very upset for some reason, and then state pretty much exactly what I said!

BCARS provides trackability for material's and building products which is useful if there are defects down the line.

And it puts some manners on builders.

Yes but building control are aldo inspecting sites and we will have a paper trail.
