Well its a pity that the only song most know by them is institutionalized... Fantastic band. Bob was and still is a great bassist

was rob trujello in suicidal tendencies? if not what band was he in?

I don't think im even going to buy the new metallica album after nearly crying with disappointment after the st anger debacle. still, it makes a nice orange coaster.

also great metal album out recently: ziltiod the omniscient by devin townsend

total agree with St Anger, i totally loved master of puppets through to the black album (for some strange reason never got into kill em all, and it is class like. i'm still confused) load and reload was one good album if you took out the fillers

Yep rob was with suicidal tendencies, infectious grooves, ozzy and metallica amongst others. He actually still gets a bit of flack for playing the re-mastered albums from ozzy like diary of a madman because it basically resulted in guys like bob daisley not getting their royalties.

Devin townsend is a master. Totally off the wall but great musician

st. anger was disappointing, but not totally unexpected. master of puppets is some album, and still gets a play every so often. didn't get into kill em all much either, but seek and destroy is a class song. ride the lightning is class as well.

not too convinced on trujillo. he fucked up the orion solo/intro to king nothing when they played the rds a few years ago. most of the time you can't even hear the bass on metallica songs anyway.

respect dude!

he is one of the very few musicians around today that I attach the word 'GENIUS' to with no doubts in my mind. I'm a little obsessed with his music. the strapping young lad stuff in incredible too. in fact I think am a bit gay for old baldy bi-polar devin.
