Default Waving you on in a furious manner...

I'v noticed when driving if you are stopped to cross over in a right turn , or coming out of a T-junction , a person who ( very graciously) stops to let you go, they wave you on like as if they are impatient.

I'v seen some very animated drivers gesturing furiously as if to say...geezuz C'mon, C'mon ,C'mon, go, go go....like a mad thing.

What's all that about? Do they not realise other drivers are not mind readers like. It's not always obvious someone has slowed down that they are actually going to stop. One has to wait a small bit to be sure.

When I wave people on I simply gesture calmly and the person drives on....not this frantic carry on.

It kinda annoys me😏

Some cars now have gesture control for adjusting the sound system

It must be confusing to other road users

No seriously like....what's with the frantic waving....calm down like.

Wave calmly....the person you have nicely stopped for will go when they absolutely know you are actually letting them cross.

Is this hard for people to understand?

Because it is probably the 3rd or 4th time they've made that gesture to you to go but you're too busy distracted with your phone assuming you're going to be waiting a while to progress.

Nothing more annoying that leaving a gap for someone to turn and they're oblivious to what is going on around them and you look like a tit waiting for them to tune in to you kind gesture.

The drivers biggest mistake was stopping to let the ungrateful cunt out in the first place.
