Default Discover Laos Magazine and the use of English

Discover Laos Magazine, Entertainment Section.

"We are about nothing so different in general talking, there are so many places and styles for the recreation at night in every day which many people like to go out for their night time in recreation: The discotheques and bars. Some of them prefer dancing, some like singing in "Kareoke", but some like only listening to music when the others like drinking the cool beer in calm atmosphere.

The others prefer playing the bowling contest, and other activities... For Lao people, as we understand that whom can do as they like, not to be in any quarrel, but to be in delight and joy as well. In this column, we Discover Laos Magazine would like to introduce some recreation places and night clubs for just taking your rest or dimishing the serious atmosphere of yourselves."

I'd say it is silent. It seems everyone except the yanks pronounce it without the "s". Or so they say in the Ronery Pranet.

But then again I might be wrong...
