That's O'Hanon on the left with the Leprechaun suit.

I wonder was she buried in it.

Of course Eilis is estranged, SF don't like anyone calling it as it is. I'd say Uncle Joe is spinning in his grave

Cahill not satisfied with Sinn Féin meeting
Máiría Cahill has said she is not satisfied with her meeting with Sinn Fein leader, Mary Lou McDonald at Leinster House this evening.

Ms Cahill has called on the party to clarify that there was an IRA investigation into her allegations of sexual abuse.

She has claimed that Sinn Féin covered up the allegations.

She said she went into the meeting with low expectations and came out with lower ones.

Ms McDonald has said there was no cover-up by her party in relation to the alleged sexual abuse of Ms. Cahill.

Deputy McDonald has previously apologised to Ms Cahill.

The Sinn Féin leader had also previously expressed her regret that her party did not have vigorous procedures in place when Ms Cahill spoke to people in confidence.

The findings of the report by the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland recently found Ms Cahill was failed by a disjointed police investigation.

Speaking on RTÉ's News at One programme ahead of the meeting, Ms Cahill, who is from a prominent republican family in Belfast, said that she has "been treated despicably" by Sinn Féin and its members.

She said she has paid a "horrendous" price since going public with her story.

Ms Cahill said that, since then, she has had no feeling in the left side of her face, a condition which doctors are still trying to establish a root cause.

She said her family relationships have suffered, that she has been "publically shamed for coming forward," and that graffiti has been painted in the area in which she says she was raped in west Belfast.

Ms Cahill said that an admission is "all she wants", which she said has not been forthcoming.

She added that she would like to think that "someone from Sinn Féin would have a modicum of decency around them to finally admit that".
After the meeting Ms McDonald said she had a lengthy conversation with Máiría Cahill.

"I listened carefully to what she had to say and I reiterated my unreserved apology and deep regret that procedures for the mandatory reporting of abuse allegations were not in place at the time of Máiría's disclosure.

"I acknowledged the hurt and pain that Máiría has been through and I stressed to her that robust procedures for the handling of abuse allegations are now in place within Sinn Féin.

"I reiterated to her that allegations of a criminal nature must be dealt with by the statutory authorities with responsibility for doing so.

"I want to wish Máiría the very best for the future," Deputy McDonald said.
