Default want to get a new graphics card for my laptop

I've got a dell inspiron 630m and the graphics card ain't the best...

I've been told you can't get a PCI express graphics card for laptops, so what are the options?

can you replace the graphics card you already have? or can you install an extra graphics card?

cheers

not a lot of options really. i believe most cards are specialist made for the laptop. laptops have no standards, bar using 2.5 hard drives and pcmcia cards.

maybe you can contact dell and see if they sell any upgrades, but unfortunatley i think you are SOL...

You have no options at all. On those laptops the graphics card is intergrated on the the motherboard. You cant upgrade the graphics card.

What are you getting caught on? Is it a programme you are trying to run?
