Default popular Cork DJ Stevie G

Cork Campus Radio 97.4FM

The sixth instalment in the station’s project Cork Anthologies, features popular Cork DJ Stevie G, and will be broadcast on Wednesday 29th June at 11am. In conversation with Don O’Mahony, Stevie talks about his passion for music, as well as football, and reveals that one of his long-held ambitions was to line up with Manchester United. This Anthology will be repeated on Wednesday 13th July at 11am.

Cork Anthologies encompasses a series of interviews with Cork people who have helped put Cork on the map in some way, be it from the genre of art, photography, music, politics, sport, or charity work,etc. There are 12 interviews in all: one for each month of 2005, and each one features the subject’s personal music selection.

He's not popular. His mum had to tie rashers to him to get the dog to play with him. And he always gets picked last in rounders.

Nah, she hates him too. She's a white supremacist and finds it disgusting that he plays all that darkie music.

She was the bassist in Skrewdriver for a while, you know.
