I've a Ring doorbell at the front door which has a camera, intercom and motion sensor built in. A Ring floodlight camera out the back which also has an intercom and motion sensor and also an alarm which you can activate remotely. They are a mighty job but not cheap. Around the 250euro mark for each but it was worth it for the peace of mind. That was about 2 years ago so they might be cheaper now.

I have the Arlo Pro2 cameras, WiFi, battery lasts reasonably long, an there’s a new version coming out, that means the ones 2 versions back, (the Pro) will take a price drop shortly. Free Cloud back up, App, alerts to phone and remote viewing via app.

Brilliant lads. You've certainly given me food for thought.

A lot of my mates have them but I never bothered. Missus thinks we should get one as her car was damaged recently when parked outside.
