turned it on, it told me there was a uodate for LIVE,
clicked ok, it lost power half way thru update,
turns back on hetting 4 red lights of death!

its covered alright,
the PSU is faulty.

UPS are coming next week to take faulty PSU,
and will have replacment in 2 weeks.

what a pain!

gaurantee is with xbox...

i have worked in sales,i know how it works,
on site warantee ect....

to be honest , if i did give out stink in the shop
i got it, it would not do much good, because there is NO stock anywhere!

i did bring the console back to test it on their power supply,
booted ok - so at least its just the psu.

UPS are delivering a box and will pick up the faulty PSU,
is gonna take 5 to 10 working days for turn around - aparently...

I had a couple of crashes with mine and it crashes occasionally now its after getting better. I mounted the PSU a couple of inches of the ground so theres a better air flow. Might be an idea JB when you get the new one. 2 weeks is nuts though! I feel your pain!

erm....

my xbox s fine, boots up no problem ?!?!?!?!?


turns out that the av lead was a little loose,
causing the 4 red leds of death

what is a little worring is originally, i had 3 red leds,
then it changed to 4.

my psu was not warm at all....

anyhoo, rechecked all leads, and its booting fine.

hmmm........
