Default Starting again

Earlier in the year I did the Laughing Langers comedy workshop and i really enjoyed it and I did a few gigs after that then I got really sick which took me while to get over. I tried to do a gig while I was still fairly weak and not entirely with it so it didn't go great and I got discouraged but now I wanna get back to it. I have continued to write the lines and jokes but I think my material needs a bit of an overhaul.

Any tips for someone whos been out a while?. Also words of encouragement might be appreciated.

Hey Cabalistics, I'm up the walls at the moment between the court case and the workshops, but if your up for it I can meet up with you in Jan and go over the new stuff. Also don't be in a rush to try out too much new material, just add a small piece to your present set, just small add on's bit by bit. What gigs have you booked for the new year, also we have 2 extra clubs Mitchelstown and Peoples Republic of Comedy. You just need to get back in to the gigging scene to decide what new pieces to add on to see what workss. Also try U.C.C. Comedy Society and Midleton Comedy Club for some gig time, for Midleton try Barry Magan that Karl is a plonk. You still have my number so txt for contact numbers for both here and Dublin

Hey thanks for replying Pat I just posted here to put pressure on myself and to get back into the right frame of mind. Sure I can meet you sometime in Jan anytime is good it's not as if I'll be busy. I have no gigs booked at the moment but I'll be getting back to it in the New Year I hope.

I have thought about setting up a comedy night in Fermoy the place it was before is after becoming a swish restaurant so that's out but there's a couple of other good places.

Actually I lost your number a few weeks ago when my phone broke so could you pm or text it to me and also the Peoples Republic of Comedy number, Mitchelstown Comedy Club and the U.C.C. Comedy society and I'll start getting myself back on track. Thanks
