He was indeed great in the City Hall, he was nothing short of an absolute disgrace in Dublin though. And he was a no show in Glastonbury last year as well for some reason.

Met him once and asked him to sign a cd for a mate and he was 'disgruntled' to say the l;east.Wont buy another of the miserable sod's albums since.

Cannot stand tortured artists meself - if you dont enjoy sod off and let someone else have a go.

Rant over

What an incredible gig. Nothing like I expected. Have loads of his albums and recognised hardly any of the tunes. Really eclectic set. Great band. Tight as fuck. He's some headbanger though. Great night.

What gig were you at? I thought it was a joke. Couldnt get into it from start to finish, the best part of the whole night was when he lit the cigarette on stage. Biggest let down gigwise in a long long while.

Thumbs up

I enjoyed it alright good gig, he was in very good form, only downside was he played too many new songs for my liking. What a contrast to his solo show in City Hall, this was heavy, Battering Line was almost like a grunge version, it rocked big time!! and what about his new version of New York New York!! How long was it about 2hrs 20minutes, it was good value for money.
