What do you make of o Mahoney and Millstreet This year?
Rumours Mark Ellis is going travelling this year, big player for the club. They drew neighbours Dromtarriff in the first round.

Is he gone from the Cork hurling panel? Big loss to Millstreet if he's not available

Nice double header alright should draw a decent crowd for those games. The double header of Macroom/Michaels & Bandon/Newmarket should be decent as well

I think Beal Atha's star is on the wane, exited the championship meekly to Macroom last year.

I would reckon Michaels, Aghada, Newmarket & Cill Na Martra will be in the shake up. Eire Og also have potential if they can get things together

Millstreet are lower intermediate though aren't they?

Michaels will be favourites but it's a very interesting competition. Evenly matched. Kanturk should be strong aswell when full strength. Castletownbere Vincents and Na Piarsaigh are the only teams who would be really struggling here.

Na Piarsaigh could be anything but things havent been great for them so far.

Millstreet are Internamediate A but there was talk of them on the thread earlier due to Aidan O'Mahony training them

Na Piarsaigh won't fear Aghada if they have their act together. Realistically they should have been Premier Int. since a few years back when the loophole helped those teams. Nothing to suggest they'll be challenging

St Michaels certainly looked to have started the year strongly but this is notoriously difficult to win. As they well know losing 3 finals in the last number of years. Fair play to them if they can get back again to the decider as it certainly isn't easy to pick yourself up after that.

I have fancied Bael Atha the last number of years but have always failed to deliver despite consistent form throughout the year. I think their chance may have passed but you never know.

Eire Og as we know are very talented.... and I feel they will be a real threat if they can get to the last 4 and go from there.

I always like the team that has won the county the previous year as they usually put in a solid run as they carry their form through and think Cill na Martra will be no different. Should give most teams a game.

Luck of the draw is massive in this grade. If you get most of the 'big hitters' on one side of the draw , there is usually a supposed 'easy' path to the final on the other.

Minor surprise there. Expect kanturk, aghada, michaels to win today. Michaels should be putting down a marker. Bantry Nemo will be close
