People should be consistent here, if it was two rugby players there would
be accusations of posh boys getting away with stuff, so these idiots deserve criticism.

Hardly getting away with anything in fairness. The video has been widely circulated their identities are well known and they have been sent home from the junket and will no doubt face further reprimand.
As someone else said they're a pair of drunken apes who are carrying on the same way hundreds of young men do each Friday and Saturday night outside every taxi base and chipper across the country.
I don't think the sport they play has anything to do with it.
Pair of gobshites whatever way you want to look at it.

Hate to say it but time now for the CPA to take the only course of action left open to it.
And personally I'd back them regardless of how militant they want to take this. The very fabric of the GAA is at stake.
Agreed . All GAA is nowadays is protecting the intercounty structure at all cost. Its where the money is . Capitalism at its best at HQ

Some mess for John Kiely to be dealing with. JP won't be long cutting down on the sponsorship if there's any more of these stories
The player that shared the footage in the WhatsApp group deserves a kick up the hole. What happens on tour stays on tour.

Exactly! Is he thick or what? Especially after the "loose change" drug scandal only a few short months ago. It is a certain freetaker who did the videoing and uploading to WhatsApp. And I'm not surprised it's him. A fringe player was the one who threw the knockout punch on the video. I doubt he'll be playing for Limerick again. I think it was another Limerick player involved in the fight.

John Kiely has had to deal with some amount of shit since they won the All Ireland between the whole corruption scandal, jet ski crash involving players, drugs on holiday, that same freetaker wrecking pub furniture and now this.

Let's just sit on our hands and watch it all.
