Watched 2 weird games last night:

How the hell did the Chiefs lose at Tennessee?

Packers seized up in the snow at Lambeau but scraped over Carolina

Dallas flattering to decieve as well - 10 minutes to get a TD in the final quarter v Vikings and stalled. Fair enough the Vikings have a good road D and record but still.

Pats will beat the pick of the AFC at home in the championship game but it's gonna be a wild ride to see who goes to Foxboro in January.

PS Miami's plan to tank and get the first round draft pick is not going well ...

Saints shocking at home to Falcons in NFC battle last night, looking like 49ers and Packers (unless their road form drags them down) for the championship game there.

And the Jets bounced back from last week to win the derby!

Baltimore traditionally are the one AFC team that always play the Patriots hard in the play-offs. They wouldn't have the same fear of having to go into Foxboro in the wind and rain in January, as some of the other AFC teams who have history of going in there and laying over.

The NFC is far more interesting. You could make a realistic case for the 49ers, Seahawks, Packers, Vikings, Saints, Panthers, Cowboys and Eagles to win the conference game. I think the 49ers defense is excellent but not so sure about Jimmy G.

Push comes to shove, I'd say either the Packers or the Saints will ultimately progress to a Superbowl. I'd like to see Minnesota get there, but not convinced you could rely on Cousins to get them over the hump.

Scumbag behaviour from Garrett who has previous for acting like such. He is fond of the late sneaky hit on a QB, but this was another level of thuggery.

He should face a long, long suspension. In a high profile televised game like last night, the NFL will have to come down hard. Garrett's stupidity is a horrible look for a sport already dealing with concussion-related issues.

Yep, game done too.
53 for the Steelers went in on him too I'd say he's looking at some games out too, the kick to the head was in there as well.

Garrett suspended indefinitely, could end up missing a few games next season. Pouncey got 3, probably a shade on the harsh side. Random Browns lineman got 1. Rudolph somehow got off scot free.

Predictable outcome really, but agree that maybe Pouncey can consider himself a little unlucky to get 3 games. Two would have been enough.

Fair play to Mayfield for what he said after the game. He didn't shy away from calling Garrett's actions 'inexcusable'.

Baltimore putting serious hurt on Houston. This might take more than four nights to recover from, Houston with a big divisional clash v Indianapolis on Thursday night.

The Falcons finally remember how to play, now that they are totally out of contention
