Easy to say that now in hindsight. Fact is she smashed the boys at various distances and ground conditions whenever she took them on prior to last year's CH. I suppose you could say her opponents were mostly past their best but she could only beat what was put in front of her and she did it impressively.

Looks like it will be back to the mares' circuit for her alright. Although they could still try to prep her for the CH and throw her back with the mares last minute if it's not working.

Fairyhouse off for today, inspection tomorrow morning.

bit of a shakeup in the CH today as Klassical Dream found nothing off the bridle and was beaten into 3rd by Saldier and Petit Mouchoir. Buveur Dair, Saldier & Klassical Dream are now joint favs at around 4/1. https://twitter.com/RacingTV/status/1195705591114731521

Klassical Dream didn't fancy it one bit. Acting up at the start, weird head carriage early race and some crazy jumps.

It's all to play for lads, early days. Jaysus, I wouldn't like to see Buveur winning 3 CHs. Would kinda take away from the achievements of the likes od Istabraq. I hear Faugheen won nicely enough.

In the end. Not before almost falling and Townend losing an iron, and nasty peck after the third last. Plenty of drama.

Early days but while the Mullins camp regarded Saldier highly they will be disappointed with KD. This is the race that Hurricane Fly used to always open his season by winning comfortably.

Saw the vid. Jesus, that was a bad mistake where Townend almost got unseated. Did well to come back from that. He'll hardly make a top chaser at this age surely. Hopefully, they'll retire him soon unless he starts winning by 20 lengths.

We'll hardly see him at that distance again then. All this bullshit about King Georges and GCs. He's a brilliant 2 miler.

DT, he wasn't beaten far, Jeez.
