Default Unhappy with your team's keeper?

Enraged AC Milan fan eBays goalie Dida
€71 top bid for blundering Brazilian

A disgruntled AC Milan fan attempted to eBay the team's Brazilian goalkeeper following the poor bloke's series of blunders which saw Manchester United celebrate a 3-2 win in the first leg of the Champions League semis, Reuters reports.

Thirty-three-year-old netminder Dida has been taking a bit of stick of late over a "series of errors", not least his performance last week during which he "left his near post exposed" allowing Wayne Rooney to slot in an injury-time winner.

Users of the world's favourite tat bazaar seem to agree with the prevailing opinion of Dida's form. The bidding had reached just €71 before eBay blew the final whistle on the auction earlier today. ®

We appoint the Milan fans kings of Fickledom.

Whatever about forgetting past performances, the guy kept it levels twice, as you mention. The Fletcher save was brilliant like.

I certainly wouldn't have Dida down as a weak link for Wednesday anyway.

I'd agree with that with the caveat that he was responsible for all 3 manyoo goals.
Well, one was a handball, but definitely the other 2.

First one yes but the defense shouldn't have given Ronnie a free header

Second one a one on one with a good stiker so fair enough

Third one maybe but i'll give the striker credit for hitting it hard and quick

Cardinal rule, though. Don't get beaten on your near post. Especially from 20 yards.

couple good saves but thats his job. i've always felt he was dodgy. more rickets than calamity james. remember that one against leeds. i remember seeing some espn commentary last year calling him the best "net minder" in the world. nearly choked with the laughter

Absolutely

I think a far worse mistake, and one hardly mentioned, was made by the excllent Canizarez (sp) recently for Valencia against Essien in the last minute

Though he also did save their asses on many times in the game

Ohh to be a keeper

Carrick missed a sitter the other night

Ronaldo missed the worst one of the season against Sheff United away b4 Xmas

The keepers can't afford such mistakes
