According to Guillame Balague hes not interested, will probably end up in England though with Chelsea a more likely destination with Real after Ronaldo and Barca after Adebayor.

LONDON (SW) - Brazilian goalkeeper Heurelho Gómes will spend the coming four years at Tottenham Hotspur. This was announced by Dutch sports magazine Voetbal International on Thursday.

Gómes will be making the move from PSV Eindhoven, where he helped the team to win four consecutive Dutch league titles and reached the semi finals of the Champions League in 2005.

But internal conflicts, with chairman Jan Reker to be precise, made the Brazilian decide to try his luck elsewhere.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly pay nine million Euros to bring the talented keeper to White Hart Lane. This is five million less than what was mentioned in Gómes's transfer clause.

The now 27 year old Gómes joins PSV Eindhoven from Cruzeiro in 2004 and went on to make 118 appearances for the Dutch side. He also represented Brazil seventeen times.

Most likely candidate to replace Gómes at PSV is Swedish goalie Andreas Isaksson, who is currently second choice at Manchester City.
Very good shot-stopper but I wasn't always convinced about his overall goalkeeping talents. I hope he turns out to be a good purchase.

I think hes an excellent keeper from what I have seen of him. Bit of a negative reaction on some of the spurs pages but I am pretty pleased with this signing. Its a position that has killed us for the last 18 months. along with centre back and defensive midfielder.

good signing IMO, read about it yesterday and was hoping it would go through. shame Villa don't want to pay £5M for Misses Robinson

Thanks be to god (if it's true. I don't know what to believe anymore). He's not really the type of player that fits into the jigsaw for Spurs.

1329: Juande Ramos has dismissed reports that Tottenham are preparing to make a bid for Espanyol striker Luis Garcia after the Spanish club's sporting director hinted a move was on the cards.
"The business about Luis Garcia has never been anything. It was something that someone put out there and others believed it, but there is nothing in it," Ramos told Sport.
"We will not be signing him." It looks like that is one rumour that has been stopped firmly in its tracks.

No surprise in my corner, I can tell you. Team selection has been nothing short of hilarious. Three wingers in the team today. Ossie Ardiles is starting to look cautious in comparison.
