FFS both flights from Dublin for a Munster match, I am sure there are many reasons why they would say this was the best option for them but it's a sad state of affairs really.

That's a shame but could see that coming.

Cork people the best in the world for campaigning to get flights. Not so great at using them. I always felt this was unsustainable. It'll be blamed on lack of marketing or some other nonsense.

There does not appear to be a market. End of story.

The route was always going to rely on business travel to support it over the winter months, serious lack of take up among the obvious companies and zero promotion within those companies.

Sorry but that's simply missing the point. So you're suggesting the reason the route is failing is because of a lack of promotion. Ah, if only more people knew about it they wouldn't be heading off to Shannon or Dublin.

It just isn't viable.

Norwegian are also cutting flights from Shannon and Edinburgh next winter, so it is not just a Cork thing.

Funny as you mentioned Mire, I have to agree with you, over the last few months while talking to people going to Boston from Cork, anyone I have spoken to have gone to another airport and flew with another airline.
I just cannot understand the mindset of some people.
