I would imagine they covered themselves when that glitch happened. Compensation if credits were late in etc, but I bet you anything you like they had a cover all for things paid out that they couldn't check.

Do people not use their head ffs? If a stranger, is asking you to do something and letting you keep some of the money, of course its utter bollox.
Ulster Bank cant afford to pay for the 18year olds stupidity.

This type of scam has been going on for years, long before Ulster Bank trouble. People looking for work on gumtree, B and B's taking reservations that are later cancelled, etc.
