Does anyone have skype?

How good is the service etc?

As I will be traveling alot with my new job I was wondering if it would be any good downloading skype.

I will want to dial mobiles and landlines in Dublin and Corkso if you have any info on how good it is etc I would greatly appreciate it.

Voipbuster is probably better, all landline calls to Ireland are free.

www.voipbuster.com
or

http://www.voipcheap.co.uk
(they are the same company but have some better rates for some reason) Both need a topup of 10euro or something, but you can try them out for free with a 1 minute lasting calls to the free destinations.

Quality is decent enough using a good headset or phone adapter.

BTW - anyone calling international from their mobile/ landline
have a look at www.telestunt.ie
I use it all the time at home.

US mobiles/landlines for the cost of a local call.

i use telestunt also. thanks for posting 13434, free calls in ireland and mobile calls of 5/10cent. cool. but the international rates are more than telestunt, at least the ones i use.

i can't be bothered with skype or any voip service. if i bought a proper kit to plug my regular phone into the PC, then fine, but i'll be fucked if i am going to sit in front of the computer with a headset. fuck that.
