Big party in Redabbey's gaff before and after the gig.

Neat dress essential.

I have a neat dress - can I go?

Rather than reading this whole thread, could someone tell me if the Cork tickets are on sale yet?

According to today's Holy Moly:

"In related 'God-the-early-Nineties-were-an-open-sewer-for-music-at-times' news, we bring you a story about Niall from Cork imbecile-rockers, The Sultans of Ping FC.

A few years back, two moles were in Camden Sainsbury’s at 3am (when it had 24-hour opening). They ended up at the deli counter and stood next to the jumper-scavenger and his Japanese other half.

Niall – and if you don’t know him, picture a man with an abandoned Rubix Cube for a face in leopard skin tights and hotpants, dancing like a hen on a bonfire – went to order. He asked for some dolce latte but was told the price was £3.60 per slither. Niall promptly shouted across the store: “£3.60? I wouldn't pay that for my mother’s fucking kidneys!”

They stopped doing 24-hour opening not long after that"

I'm reliably informed that the Clare People, a new paper launching in Clare next week, has Leagues O'Toole (No Disco/Today FM, etc) doing a music column and his first piece is on the Sultans of Ping

For one-minor-hit-wonders? I doubt it. Get over it and fuck off to the Music Forum, moron.
